Meet Mr. James Mjwahuzi Felix — Founder & CEO
James Mjwahuzi Felix was born in the Kagera Region of Tanzania, a place of great lakes, green hills, and warm people. Today he calls Kisongo, Arusha his home — a town that sits in the shadow of Kilimanjaro and on the doorstep of some of the greatest wildlife destinations on earth. It is exactly where a man who has built his life around Tanzania's natural wonders should be.
James founded James Tours Africa with a clear and personal purpose: to share his country with the world, honestly and authentically. Not just the wildlife, though Tanzania has no equal in that regard — but the culture, the people, the stories, and the landscapes that most visitors never get to see. His background in the tourism industry taught him that the difference between a good safari and an unforgettable one comes down to the person who guides it. That belief drives everything at James Tours Africa.
Under James's leadership, the company has grown into a trusted name for travellers arriving from across the globe, each looking for something genuine. He and his team specialize in Wildlife Safaris, Cultural Tourism, Zanzibar Beach Holidays, Mountain and Nature Adventures, Camping Safaris, Luxury and Mid-range Safaris, and Family and Group Tours — designed and led by people who know this land intimately.
